Jeffree Star Releases Video Setting The Record Straight On Kanye West Rumours

Jeffree Star felt the need to post a video addressing the Kanye West rumours after his social feeds became inundated with Chinese Whispers that the beauty guru was having a secret relationship with the Chicago rapper.

Titling his video in a very beauty world drama-esque way, Jeffree wrote: “addressing the Kanye situation”.

Speaking in the video, Jeffree denies all claims that he was spending time with Kanye in Wyoming – where they apparently both reside at the moment amid reports of Kim and Kanye’s ongoing split.

“I’m single … I’m not sleeping with anyone,’ Star said. ‘This is so weird … this is so stupid. Let me just say this one time … I like very tall men.”

With TikTok rife with clues as to the pair’s apparent dating history, Jeffree also cleared the air on people noticing a song lyric about Kanye in one of Jeffree’s old songs.

Laughing at that situation, Jeffree adds:

“I get why people are really laughing about this. In an old song of mine from 2009 called B*tch Please – I say a line about Kanye. But it was very like Eminem. I mentioned like 50 celebrities.”

For those who aren’t aware of the Kanye/Jeffree drama that was stirring around the internet, here’s a recap.

The rumour started with a video by TikToker Ava Louise. Who, to be fair, is controversial herself. From her song Skinny Legend to the video of her doing the ‘coronavirus challenge’ licking a plane toilet seat, no really.

And her latest video was all about Kimye, saying that it’s ‘well known’ that Kanye has been “hooking up with a very famous beauty guru” – eluding to Jeffree Star.

She added that she doesn’t have any “concrete evidence” but claims she was told by an entertainment lawyer in LA.

Since then, other videos have emerged too, speaking about how the pair live in the same place in Wyoming in the US. Others have also been doing the most on Twitter, linking song lyrics Kanye has written to Jeffree and even bringing up some old tweets that Jeffree shared about the rapper from 10 years ago.

Before creating his video addressing the sitch, Jeffree also added fuel to the fire, tweeting a photo of him “ready for Sunday service”, which we all know is Kanye’s mass, as well as a photo of the mountains in Wyoming.
