Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner Got Married By Elvis In Las Vegas Last Night

They exchanged ring pops instead of wedding bands.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got married last night in a Las Vegas wedding chapel, presided over by an Elvis impersonator. Perfect!

The couple, who announced their engagement in October 2017, were in Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards, at which Joe was performing with the rest of the Jonas Brothers.

They went straight from the awards show to the famous Little White Wedding Chapel with a gang of celebrities in tow. According to Entertainment Tonight, they’d obtained a marriage license earlier that day.

No one would have known anything about it if it weren’t for the DJ Diplo, who live-streamed the ceremony on Instagram:

Sophie wore a white jumpsuit and veil, and walked up the aisle as country music duo Dan and Shay sang their hit Speechless.

The couple were wed by the aforementioned Elvis impersonator, and exchanged ring pops instead of more traditional gold wedding bands.

They repeated their vows, as instructed by Elvis, in unison:

I promise you, I will never leave you. I will love and trust you all the days of my life.

Afterwards, they posed for photos on the pink Cadillac outside the chapel, and returned to their hotel to jump in the hot tub fully clothed. As you bloody well do.

Joe and Sophie were rumoured to be tying the knot in France this summer, with Sophie confirming Maisie Williams as her maid of honour.

Maybe they’ll still go ahead with the big white wedding party now they’ve done the main part? Who knows, but truly – congratulations, you crazy kids.
