Actress Kate Hudson has shared her experience with co-parenting her children.

Speaking on ‘tradition’ and how her family unit is different from that, Kate says that herself and her three children’s dads all work together to make things run smoothly.

“It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we’re killing it,” she told The Times.

She continued: “The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours.”

Kate has 3 children, 18-year-old Ryder, who she shared with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, she has an 11-year-old named Bingham with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and a 4-year-old little girl Rani Rose, who she parents with her current fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

Having an 18-year-old and a 4-year-old can’t be easy, and Kate herself admits that her parenting has evolved since she welcomed her first son almost 2 decades ago.

“I’m definitely more present as a mother now that I’m older,” she says.

“With Ryder, our relationship is so special because I grew up with him. The big learning period of my life and becoming a woman happened as I was being a mother.”

We’re delighted to see positive co-parenting in the public eye, more of this please!
