It’s been a year for celebrity relationships – between breakups and baby announcements alone we’ve been kept busy here in STELLAR HQ bringing you the latest updates.

The newest celeb couple weighing in on the relationship updates is One Direction’s Liam Payne and his girlfriend Maya Henry, who are now reportedly engaged.

Liam is believed to have popped the big question over lockdown, with Maya papped wearing a mahoosive rock on her ring finger while the two went out for dinner this week. Mail Online has reported that the ring is massive indeed and our eyes do not deceive us, coming in at around £3million.

Although Maya doesn’t feature too prominently on Liam’s social media, he has gushed about her in recent times, back in September he shared a picture of them both thanking his team for helping him with her new record, including Maya saying:

“Then last but not least this one @maya_henry for always keeping the biggest smile on my face through all the stress and making me realise how perfect my life really is🥰love you all let’s stack this shit up”

He has also praised her to various publications during interviews, saying that her laid back nature makes them the perfect couple.

“She’s just so relaxed about everything. Someone who’s got your back with everything. I don’t think I’ve experienced that before in someone, so it’s quite a wonder to watch.”

Liam and Maya first began dating in 2018, after Liam’s split with Cheryl. The two then reportedly broke up, before getting back together officially in 2019, making their coupled debut in August. At just 20, there’s a little bit of an age gap between Liam and Maya, something which brought them some flack in the early days of their relationship, but they’ve since cleared up rumours that Maya was underage when she and Liam met.

Congrats are in order for these two then, we guess?
