Love Island is all about finding the one…but the fame and fortune are definitely bonuses!

The reality series is know for creating some of the most popular influencers around, with increased follower counts, brand deals, and businesses opportunities awaiting a fortunate few when the villa doors open.

But who exactly is the top earner from the show? Well, thanks to a new list by Honcho we know the top ten earners from Instagram, and the list has quite a few surprises. As three stars from the latest series are already in the top ten earners.

  1.  Molly-Mae Hague

Taking the top spot was Molly-Mae Hague.

She used to be just a lifeguard from Manchester but after featuring on the 2019 series, Molly-Mae has amassed 6.8million followers on Instagram, earning an estimated average of €69,429 per post.

Molly-Mae now works as a creative director for Pretty Little Thing, while also owning her fake tan company Filter.

2. Tommy Fury

In second place was another 2019 Love Island alum, with Molly-Mae’s beau Tommy Fury following closely behind his girlfriend. Tommy has earned 4.3million followers on Instagram, and makes an estimated average of €43,964 per post.

On top of that, the reality star has followed in his family’s footsteps, finding success as a boxer. Along with brand deals with the likes of BoohooMan.

3. Maura Higgins

Since her run on the show in 2019, Maura Higgins has racked up an amazing 3.6million followers on Instagram, making a reported €34,926 per post.

On top of her Instagram earnings, Miss Higgins also makes a pretty penny from her collaborations with beauty brands such as Inglot and Bellamiantia, along with lingerie giant Ann Summers. She has also dipped her toe into the world of TV and presenting with Glow Up Ireland which she took to like a natural.

On top of that, Maura has also found success as a model, signing to Elite Model Management, which manages supermodels such as Coco Rocha and Kendall Jenner.

4. Dani Dyer

After winning the 2018 series, Dani Dyer earned 3.6million followers on Instagram, and earns an estimated average of €34,550 per post.

She is also brand ambassador for Surf, and has partnered with fashion brands Little Mistress and Matalan, beauty brand SOSU by Suzanne Jackson, and baby brand My Babiie on a line of prams.

5. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

In fifth place was this year’s champion Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

In just a few months since she and partner Davide Sanclimenti took the crown, Ekin-Su garnered 3.2million followers on Instagram, making an estimated average of €31,754 per post.

She has also jumped into the TV world, starring in reality show, Homecomings, with her boyfriend, and her upcoming appearance on ITV’s Dancing On Ice. The Turkish actress also has partnerships with clothing brand Oh Polly!, cosmetic company BPerfect, and haircare brand Beauty Works.

6. Amber Gill

After winning the 2019 series with Greg O’Shea, Amber amassed 2.6million Instagram followers, and makes an estimated average of €25,465 per post.

Outside of Instagram she works as a brand ambassador for MissPap, and is writing her own romance novel series, with her first book Until I Met You being released last year. She also found fame in the television realm appearing on This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Loose Women, and many more.

7. Gemma Owen

Appearing on the 2022 series, 19-year-old Gemma gained 2million followers on Instagram, and earns an estimated average of €21,153 per post.

The daughter of footballer Michael Owen, she was already a successful equestrian and swimwear brand owner, and has entered a partnership with clothing brand Pretty Little Thing, and jewellery brand Abbott Lyon.

8. Davide Sanclimenti

Another 2022 alum, Davide and GF Ekin-Su won over the public and were voted champions. Following his victory the Italian has earned 1.9million Instagram followers, and makes an estimated average of €19,490 per post.

Outside of IG, Davide was already a successful business man before the series, and has since gone on to partner with BoohooMan, and star in his own reality show, Homcomings, with Ekin-Su.

9. Millie Court

The 2021 champion, Millie garnered 1.9million Instagram followers and makes an estimated average of €19,063 per post, after appearing on the show.

Outside of Instagram, Millie partnered with clothing retailer ASOS, and beauty brand Eylure.

The doctor continued working in the A&E during the Covid-19 pandemic, and has also found success in the television world appearing on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, The Six O’clock Show, and Loose Women.
