Weeks after leaving the Love Island’s Will Young and Jessie Wynter are in the honeymoon stage bliss. But their relationship wasn’t always so smooth.
During Casa Amor, Will cosied up to bombshell Layla Al-Momani, but chose to stay with Jessie after the challenge ended. Once his antics were revealed, it caused a lot of trouble in his relationship with Jessie. Although the pair eventually worked through it, and are still together now.
And as for Will and Layla, the pair are not close after the fallout of their fling. Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast, the farmer was asked if he still spoke with Layla. Replying: “Absolutely no chance.”
“If anything, I wish that thing never happened.”

They then asked: “Have you ever had any interaction with her on the outside? Seen her at an event? Or obviously, the reunion?”
With Will explaining: “Saw her at the reunion, didn’t really kind of do anything towards that.”
Before throwing a bit of shade at his former flame. “She’s been on like podcasts chatting the most, and I’m like ‘babes, you were there for three days!’” Will exclaimed.

Layla recently opened up to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia about her time on the series.
Explaining how much she enjoyed her experience, the business woman explained: “I found love in Love Island… just a different kind! I have made best friends out of the Casa Girls which I really wasn’t expecting going in. Like they say it’s Love Island not ‘Friend Island.’”
“The girls actually came and stayed with me last weekend and I took them out around London.”
Referencing her time with Will, Layla had only good things to say, admitting: “I did of course also build a connection with Will. Not everything was shown but we started on a playful friendship vibe and I would love to be able to be friends down the line.”

Meanwhile Will and Jessie have gone from strength to strength, with Will even considering heading to Jessie’s native Australia soon.
With the former waitress telling The UK Sun: “I am looking to go back to Australia at the end of May because I think that’s when my visa is until.”
“Will might be coming with me, which is really exciting, and then we’re going to look at what other types of visas I can have when I get back over here.”
“I do see myself long-term in the UK, if Will doesn’t enjoy Australia too much.”
