Maura Higgins And Chris Taylor Open Up About Their Relationship In Q&A

The couple talk about marriage and who made the first move!

The Maura Higgins/Chris Taylor is not the Love Island couple anyone expected but we are totally here for it.

Since the pair went public with their romance in November the’ve slowly been showing off more and more of their relationship on social media.

This week they did a Q&A on Maura’s Instagram with her followers, and there were lots of interesting questions.

One follower asked “Who made the first move?” and the pair didn’t quite agree on who it was! Chris told Maura to “put her hand up and admit it” but she was having none of it saying that it was him who chased her.

One of the questions was about the possibility of a wedding between the two to which the Longford native innocently asked; “When are we getting married Chris?”

Putting him on the spot he said; “Oh God, eh next year?”

After weeks of speculation, the pair confirmed they were an item back in November while they were in Dubai celebrating Maura’s 30th birthday.

“He’s mine,” Maura wrote online, while Chris announced that he, in fact, “fell in love” with his “best friend”.

The pair remained extremely close after finishing Love Island together, with Maura dating Curtis Pritchard, while Chris briefly went out with fellow islander, Harley Brash.

But fans noticed the pair getting closer than ever, spending a lot of time at each other’s houses during lockdown and well, it’s now clear that they are more than just friends – cute.

Although we don’t actually think there will be a wedding any time soon, the couple do seem super loved up. You love to see it.
