Megan Fox Has Opened Up About How Her 6 Year Old Son Is Often Bullied For Wearing Dresses

“I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what”

Just days ago, American actress Megan Fox shared the story of her psychological breakdown, as a result of being hypersexualised throughout her career. Megan is now opening up about her life even further, sharing the news that her six-year-old son Noah is sometimes bullied for wearing dresses.

While speaking on the American chat show, ‘The Talk’, Megan spoke about her son Noah and his love for fashion. Telling the panel about his skill for style, she revealed how he enjoys drawing and designing outfits. While he is also not shy about expressing his opinions on his mother’s clothes, he also likes to experiment with his own style, often swapping trousers for dresses and skirts.

“Often, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses, sometimes.” she said.

However, while Megan allows her son to wear dresses to school should he wish, she said that he still faces ridicule from other boys in his class.

“I send him to a really liberal, ‘hippy’ school, but even there, here in California, he will still have little boys tell him ‘boys don’t wear dresses’ or ‘boys don’t wear pink’,”

Megan says that she feels the best way to handle the situation is to encourage her son to do as he pleases regardless of what people might think or say.

“We are going through that now where I am trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says” she said.

Two years ago Megan’s husband Brian Austin Greene shared his own similar views on the subject of his son wearing dresses saying:

“I feel like at four, at five, that’s a time when he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him.”

Hear, hear!
