Recently, Molly-Mae Hague revealed she had been diagnosed with endometriosis after seeing a private specialist.

At the time, she opened up that she was planning on having keyhole surgery, sharing: “It’s not a good thing that I have endometriosis, because obviously it can affect fertility and loads of other things, and you can never really cure it.”

Now, Molly-Mae has opened up about the surgery, and how the recovery time was longer and ‘harder’ than she thought.

“The operation was way, way harder to go through than I thought,” she shared in a recent YouTube video, “My recovery time was quite a bit longer than I had planned, and I was just a bit of a mess after that surgery.”

Continuing, the 22-year-old added: “A lot of the things I’ve been talking to you guys about recently is like, my health is not great, I’ve been dealing with this, I’ve been dealing with that… But my endometriosis operation is the last now. I am done, hopefully, I never have to see my doctor’s surgery or the hospital that I go to for a long time!”

Molly-Mae then shared that she’d do a Q&A where she’d go into more detail about her endometriosis journey.

Previously, in another YouTube video, she shared how painful the condition can be: “I obviously don’t know what labour feels like but they’re to the point I literally can’t stand up, I’m screaming in pain, no painkiller will make me feel any better, I have to take days and days off work.

“I feel like I’ve been in a car crash after I’ve been on my period, it’s not normal.”
