Nicola Coughlan Says Season Three Of Bridgerton Is Her ‘Favourite’

We’re counting down the days until Bridgerton season three arrives on our screens.

Yes, it’s been a long time coming, but we have a feeling this might be the best season yet!

And it’s not just us who believe so, as Nicola Coughlan herself agrees.

Speaking to RTE, the Irish actress admitted: “I’m obviously biased, but it was my favourite one [season] to film.”

Based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels, the show follows the eight siblings of the Bridgerton family as they attempt to find love.

This season will see Penelope Featherington, played by our gal, Nicola take the reigns.

And seeing as it’s been two years since the release of the previous season, it’s safe to say the cast and crew were all delighted to be back filming.

“It’s like a family,” Nicola began.

“It felt like coming back this year after season two, which was Covid filming season when we were all very separate, it felt like coming home and everyone was finally everyone together again.”

Nicola also explained how fans will see a power shift between Colin, played by Luke Newton and Penelope this season, adding that she’s always had him on a “pedestal”.

Well, not anymore!

Bridgerton season three is set to arrive in two parts with part one premiering 16 May and part two on 13 June.
