Racist? People Want Gigi Hadid Removed From The VS Fashion Show Over This Instagram Video
"Do not come to China, we do not welcome you..."
Earlier this week, Gigi Hadid announced that she’ll be taking part in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, this winter.
She posted a black and white video of herself wearing the famous Angel wings, and captioned it, “Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show!!! ?? .”
However, people have been taking to social media to say that the 22-year-old doesn’t deserve to walk the catwalk in China, having supposedly made fun of Asian culture back in February.
At the time, a video surfaced online of her holding up a Buddha-shaped cookie and she seemed to squint her eyes to mimic his facial expression.
As a result, people slammed her for being ‘racist’ and for ‘mocking Asian people’.

Now that she’s been confirmed for the upcoming VS show in China, people are saying she isn’t welcome there. One person tweeted, “Being racist just ruins everything… Gigi Hadid better cry big tears if the VS show is in Shanghai cause we don’t want her anywhere in Asia.”
Another said, “We do not want Gigi Hadid to come to China. She is racist. Gigi do not come to China, we do not welcome you ????.”
A third tweeted, “Gigi Hadid don’t come to Shanghai OK? We Chinese hate you.”
