While it’s not exactly brand new information about the Sex and the City revival, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have officially confirmed the news on Instagram. So, SATC fans rejoice!
The beloved series is making a comeback on HBO, but there’ll be quite a few changes. Not only will it have brand new storylines, but it also has an entirely different name: And Just Like That.
“I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now,” SJP (who played Carrie, the character a lot of us have a love/hate relationship with) shared on Instagram, alongside a teaser of what’s to come. While Cynthia, or Miranda as we all know and love her, wrote, “You, me, New York…anything is possible.” Kristin, a.k.a Charlotte, added, “Anything is possible…. Meet you there!”

Of course, we know there’s the exception of Kim Catrall, who has always been vocal about not wanting to return to the iconic show.
This comes after HBO recently confirmed the suspicions, as the SATC reboot rumours were circulating for quite a while. Commenting on this in a recent interview, Sarah said “I wouldn’t call it a reboot, I would call it a revisit.
“I’d like to see where all of them are. I’m curious, the world has changed even since the movie… technology and social media.”
Sex and the City first started in 1998 and is still as loved now as it was then, even if some episodes are a little dated.
Honestly, we’re excited to see where they take it. But we’ll still miss good aul’ Samantha all the same.
