Selena Gomez And The Weeknd’s Breakup Had NOTHING To Do With Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd (real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) called quits to their 10 month relationship and many fans believed her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, was the reason behind it.

However, that isn’t the case. A source told TMZ that it was Abel who ended the relationship because their spark had fizzled out. In fact, they started drifting apart during the summer, long before Selena was spotted hanging out with her ex-beau.

Justin was seen calling over to Selena’s L.A. home last week, and a few days later they were spotted having breakfast together, but none of that bothers Abel at all. The insider said he, “enjoyed being single before he met Selena and felt unfairly tied down in a relationship that had lost its passion.”

It’s believed they ended on good terms and will remain friends.
