Chrishell Stause is having none of people claiming that she only dated Jason Oppenheim for the sake of the show, and she’s hitting back at anyone who’s claiming exactly that.

In December of 2021, Chrishell and co-star Jason ended their relationship due to having different hopes for the future when it comes to starting a family. At the time, Jason shared a statement online sharing that there were no hard feelings or foul play between himself and Chrishell admitting that the relationship they shared was the “most fulfilling relationship of my life”.

Speaking to Andy Cohen, Chrishell spoke about whether or not the relationship and break up was just for the show, insisting that wasn’t the case.

“Then we would have done a better job of making the press work, and not spoiling the breakup before the show came out. So, no.”

Chrishell then went on to joke about getting special treatment in the agency from now on, saying: “Well, I hope so. No, I’m kidding. Sure. I mean, I’m not against it. I should at least get a better commission split now. I’m trying. I definitely made the argument. I think it’s gonna happen.”

Previously, Chrishell shared in an interview with People that she’s keeping her options open when it comes to starting a family.

“It’s bittersweet,” she shared, speaking of the reason behind her and Jason’s breakup. “You can’t talk out this problem. It’s just something that, it is what it is.

“We’ll see what happens with my future, but I definitely think that I’m keeping all my options open.”

Adding that she’d like to one day have children with someone, she shared: “I would love for that to happen, but if it doesn’t, I feel like I can do it on my own. That’s something that seems scary, but it also seems a little freeing, knowing that I’m not tied down to this idea that I only have this finite amount of time to figure it out.

“I feel like it’s one of those things where I’m giving myself a certain amount of time.

“It’s 2022 and we have to kind of look at all options. I definitely have come around to the thought that, yes, I’m going to go and try and [find a partner], but if I don’t find that, that’s okay too.”
