Tbh, we weren't expecting this.

Selling Sunset is exactly what we all needed this year, to be honest. A little escapism, a whole lot of drama and dreaming of million-dollar homes. Exactly what the doctor ordered. But, it turns out that Jason Oppenheim feels very different than we do about the show.

The owner of The Oppenheim Group has admitted that he regrets putting the brokerage forward for the Netflix show, saying he didn’t realise the show was going to turn out in the way that it did.

“Had I known the show would be this focused on our personal lives I probably wouldn’t have signed up for it,” he told Hello! magazine. “I wanted it to be all about the nuances of real estate, but I now realise the show I envisaged wouldn’t be that popular! I’ve come to accept the idea that I’m on more of a reality show than a real estate show.”

Well, he has a point. We all know that Selling Sunset is all about the drama (thanks Christine and Davina) with a spot of real estate thrown in for good measure. But hey, that’s why we love it.

Jason’s revelation comes just after Christine revealed his brother, Brett, had left the business. “Brett has left to start his own brokerage,” Christine said in a recent interview with Glamour.

Christine continued, “The girls are fed up with the favouritism of Mary in the office, we don’t know who will move where. It may be the battle of the brokerages! I think season four is going to be the juiciest season ever.”

Okay, I’m focusing on the good news here, that Christine basically confirmed that season four is on the way. I think I speak for all of us when I say, can we PLEASE just have it now!?
