So, Apparently Westlife Are Giving Away A Personal Gig For Charity

Bringing Croker to our homes

Calling all Westlife fans! To raise money for this year’s Comic Relief, it’s rumoured that Westlife is giving away a personal performance for one very lucky stan.

Proving that they’re the best boys around, an insider told The Mirror that they were set to play the Comic Relief gig this year but due to logistical reasons, they won’t be able to. So, instead, they have devised a plan to be a part of the wonderful cause, and are offering up their service to raise a few bob for charity.

“This has never been done by the band before but they were desperate to contribute to Comic Relief in a major way.”

“The competition will be run across 2FM in the build-up to Friday June 26. The lucky winner will be notified live on air by host of Comic Relief, Nicky Byrne.” the source said.

So, do you have an important event in the pipeline, maybe a 21st? your wedding, even just a house warming?

When exactly the gig will be able to take place we’re not sure yet, given the unpredictable nature of the current crisis.

“They will play at a wedding maybe for someone who had to cancel their reception due to the pandemic. Or they will do a Christening or a 21st, whatever the winner wants and we hope that this will help praise big money for the charity,” ths insider continued.

How exactly you can win this Westlife gig has not been announced yet, but if you or someone you know is interested in making your next event one to remember, then tune in to 2fm in the next week to find out more.

We’ll be flying without wings!
