“Some people value freedom over their lives.” Well, we don't even know where to start.

While the majority of us are tucked up at home, practicing our best social-distancing, this whole pandemic has celebs gone a bit haywire, first Vanessa Hudgens had her say on things, then there was that version of Imagine.  The poor celebs, they don’t know what to be at in their nine bedrooms mansions with indoor gyms and cinemas. Bless.

Now, Lost and Antman actress Evangeline Lilly is out there refusing to self-isolate. Despite literal worldwide warnings, she’s decided against just chilling out in her own home. She took to Instagram to, er, explain her decision to just go about her everyday life. “Just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #BusinessAsUsual.” Keeping in mind that Evangeline is living with her father, who has stage 4 leukemia, it makes her decision even more dangerous.

When people then called her out for the pretty irresponsible post, she replied, “Where we are right now feels a lot too close to Marshall Law [sic] for my comfort already, all in the name of a respiratory flu. It’s unnerving….Let’s be vigilant right now. And kind. Watchful and gracious — keeping a close eye on our leaders, making sure they don’t abuse this moment to steal away more freedoms and grab more power.”

She also added, “I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices.”

Of course, some people don’t have the option to work from home, or just stay safely indoors. But if you can, please take the advice of medical professionals and the government by self-isolating and social distancing.
