Taylor And Tom Were Spotted Out On A Date And It Sounds Ridiculously Uncomfortable

Taylor’s had a bit of a rough time recently.

After she split from former boyfriend Calvin Harris, she was quickly blasted for swiftly (you see what we did there) hooking up with Thor actor Tom Hiddleston.

And then there was all the Kimye Snapchat drama that exposed Taylor for lying about her knowledge of Kanye’s controversial Famous lyrics and prompted the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty.

Still, all the drama doesn’t seem to have taken its toll on her new relationship, as Tay and Tom were spotted out on a date recently, and according to an onlooker they looked seriously loved up.

The onlooker, who witnessed their date in a restaurant in Santa Monica told Entertainment Tonight that “[Taylor and Tom] seemed happy and laughing, touching, holding hands. They were both smiling a lot.”

While that sounds super romantic, there was one detail that put a bit of a dampener on the couple’s love-in: er, the two tables of bodyguards they were flanked by while trying to enjoy each other’s company. Eek!

“The security guards were no joke,” the onlooker explains. “[They] had their own table next to us and another one was hiding behind a plant right behind them. There were probably three guards, maybe four.”

Not exactly romantic, is it? Maybe next time Tay and Tom should just Netflix and chill.
