Oscars 2021: Irish Movie Nominated For Best Animated Feature
The flick is up against Disney and Pixar's Soul.
It’s a great day for Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon.
Located in Kilkenny, the studio is celebrating a nomination for their creation – Wolfwalkers – in the animated feature film category for this year’s Academy Awards.
Beating off stiff competition, this is an incredible honour for the flick, the studio and the movie’s creators, Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart at the 93rd annual Academy Awards which will take place later than usual this year on April, 26.
Speaking about the nomination, the studio thanked their team and the Academy for the prestigious nomination.
