Strap In, Here’s What We Can Expect From You Season 3 As Filming Set To Recommence

The show has revealed some exciting plot details, as season three resumes filming this autumn.

Get excited, season three of Netflix hit You is officially back on the cards, with filming set to take place again later this autumn.

According to co-creator Sara Gamble, the show, in typical You fashion, will have a lot of unexpected moments, as well as exciting plot twists and lots of Joe Goldberg.

Speaking on a virtual chat with Penn Badgley (who plays serial killer in question above), Sera said “there’s lots to come”, giving hints that the neighbour we see at the end of season 2 will feature heavily, as will Joe and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), who move house and set up a new life with their child.

Speaking about that mysterious woman, Penn asks Sera:

“I want to ask you about what we’re going to do here but you can’t really tell us.”

To which Sera replies:

“It’s pretty obvious when we were filming this that we were careful not to show too much of her because that role hasn’t technically been cast yet. But there’s lots to come with that neighbour.”

We do know that this neighbour is also set to become Joe’s new fixation, with his final words in season two being:

“There you were with your books and your sunshine, so close but worlds away. I will figure out a way. A way to get to you. See you soon, neighbour.”

As expected, there are many theories on who this woman is, from those who think it’s Beck (Elizabeth Lail) to Candace (Ambyr Childers) or even, an older love interest pre-Candace, but then, there’s those that think it’s moving away from sexual love and towards motherly love, with some fans believing it’s Joe’s mom.

Hmmm.

All will be revealed in due course, let’s just hope it’s sooner rather than later. The good news is that plenty of Netflix shows are up and running yet again, including Sex Education, which is too, now filming season three.

However, fans of The Society and I Am Not Ok With This will be sad to know those Netflix show were axed last month; more here.
