This Is When Meghan And Harry’s Docu-Series Is Dropping On Netflix
And it's sooner than you think
The much-anticipated docu-series following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been a hot topic for some time now.
Until now, there hasn’t been a solid release time. But finally, we have one.
The show is scheduled for a December release, according to insiders who informed Page Six.
There has been a lot of confusion over when we’ll be able to watch the show, as a report on Deadline posted earlier this week that the release date has been pushed back until 2023 after backlash for the next season of The Crown.
In the show, we can expect to see the couple as we’ve never seen them before. Following them over the last year, Meghan herself has described the show as: “The piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see — our love story.”
However, some reports have claimed that the two are nervous about the content that will be in the series. Unsure if they shared too much and apparently keen to remove it if they feel they did, an insider told Page Six:
“Harry and Meghan are having second thoughts on their own story, on their own project.”
“They’ve made significant requests to walk back content they themselves have provided — to the extent that some Netflix staff believe, if granted, it will effectively shelve the project indefinitely. Netflix is standing by the filmmakers.”
For now, it looks like the project is going ahead and we can (fingers crossed) binge on it before the year is out. Netflix are yet to confirm the exact date it will land.
