This New Netflix Reality Dating Show Is The Most Bonkers Thing We’ve Seen
A fever dream, that's what it is.
The trailer for Netflix’s new dating show has left viewers both shocked and confused – and dare we say intrigued?
‘Sexy Beasts’ sees contestants arrive to their first date looking like wild and wacky fantasy creatures using prosthetics.
Each contestant will go on three blind dates, all wearing prosthetics. The contestant will only see their date’s true identity after they’ve chosen the person they’d like to meet again.
The show is based on a BBC Three series that aired in 2015. The aim is to help contestants find love based solely on personality.
Sounds like a strange mixture of Love Island, The Masked Singer and Love is Blind all in one!
The trailer was released this afternoon and the reaction has been, well, interesting!
No, you’re not hallucinating. SEXY BEASTS is a new dating show that uses cutting edge prosthetics to put true blind-date chemistry to the test. On Netflix, 21 July. pic.twitter.com/Puvz3wcD7p

One viewer tweeted: “This absolutely can’t be real. Netflix is trolling us, right?”
A second viewer tweeted: “I normally don’t give a shit about dating/reality shows, but this is FASCINATING to me lol.”
With another adding: “This is hell and also the only dating show I quite fancy going on.”
While it might seem a little strange we all know that we’ll probably end up watching!
Who knows maybe we’ll get another power couple, watch your brand Molly-Mae and Tommy!
The season will consist of six episodes and is set to be released on Netflix on July 21. Will you be watching?
