Who Is Jonathan Davino, Sydney Sweeney’s Fiancé?

It’s been a good couple of years for Sydney Sweeney.

The 26 year old actress has been experiencing a huge career breakthrough in Hollywood thanks to her roles in Euphoria and White Lotus, and she has an upcoming rom-com with Glen Powell in the works (although fans aren’t too excited about it.)

Sydney’s also having lots of luck in love, as she became engaged to boyfriend Jonathon Davino last year.

The pair have been romantically linked since 2018, though are notoriously private about their relationship.

So, who is the mysterious Jonathon Davino that’s been blessed enough to end up with Sydney?

We know very little about him, but what we do know is that he comes from a family that owns device technology and packaging company 14th Round and Final Bell, according to People.

Jonathon has worked as a restaurateur, and has been listed in Crain’s Chicago Business as the owner of two Chicago restaurants, Mista Pizza and Pompei Xpress, though both have since closed.

Fans reckon Mr. Davino is a Chicago resident, namely because of a sneaky reference from Sydney herself.

When asked by Elite Daily where she can see herself settling down, Sydney said the Amalfi Coast (unsurprising) and Chicago (a little more random). Why Chicago? Sydney coyly revealed that “a friend” lives there. Aha!

Though fans may be frustrated that details about Jonathon’s life are sparse, it’s clear that Sydney likes it that way.

Chatting to Cosmopolitan, Sydney gave a surprising insight into her romantic life. “I don’t date people in the spotlight,” she revealed.

“I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest.

“Sydney went on to suggest that her relationship with Jonathon works because of the support he provides.

“I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, ‘Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back.”

Continuing about what’s important for her in a long term partner, Sydney divulged that she looks for a “best friend,” and we can only imagine thats true for her experience with Jonathon.

“I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.”
