‘Woo!’: Dorothy Perkins Totally Failed To Read The Room Today With This #FridayFeeling Tweet

While the rest of the country was coming to terms this morning with what a non-EU Britain meant for their political and financial future, the folks at Dorothy Perkins HQ were busy dealing with a bit of a PR nightmare.

The UK retailer published an alarmingly cheerful tweet from their official account earlier on, in a case of social media scheduling gone direly, direly wrong.

Unsurprisingly, the tweet has since been deleted, but not before people gave the retailer a serious dressing-down:
