Nasty Gal Has Created A New Collection Promoting Safe Sex And The Importance Of Female Pleasure
The campaign is in partnership with sexual health charity MTV Staying Alive.
Trendy online retailer Nasty Gal have paired up with MTV Staying Alive to promote healthy, safe sex and the importance of female pleasure. Now that’s a campaign we’re all for.
MTV Staying Alive is a HIV prevention charity that finds and funds youth-led projects that educate young people globally on HIV and AIDS. The Nasty Gal campaign will be supported by some quirky slogan tees and sweatshirts, featuring slogans such as ‘Love Sex, Love Yourself’ and ‘Wrap it Up’. When you buy a tee or sweat €5 of the sales from the item will be donated to MTV Staying Alive to help continue the important work they do.
Nasty Gal said that the collaboration wants to encourage everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, to have fun and feel empowered when it comes to sex, and most importantly, to stay safe.
Georgia Arnold, Executive Director of MTV Staying Alive said: “We are so excited to be launching our first collaboration with Nasty Gal. Every t-shirt doesn’t just look fantastic, it’s designed with a theme in mind; to shatter common myths around sex, especially those relating to female pleasure.”
The campaign is modelled by DJs and personalities Becca Dudley and Mercedes Benson who are brand ambassadors for the charity.
About the collab, Mercedes said:
“I think it’s important for girls to be taught about their sexual health so that they’re more in control of their body, and how they want to have sex. It’s not just about pleasing the guys, it’s not just about satisfying them, it’s about enjoying it and you know, having pleasure for yourself too. It’s not just a guy thing, it’s for both of us.”
The collection will be available at nastygal.com from today and prices range from €18 for tees and €23 for the sweats.
