IKEA Is Launching New Range Of Luxury Scented Candles Starting At €6

There’s never a time that we aren’t in the market for a new scented candle. Be it for the coffee table, the bedroom, the hall or even, the bathroom, candles certainly do make a house a home and add such a cosy feel while watching late night movies.

So, the latest collaboration to come through IKEA’s doors is one we’re very excited about. Teaming up with Swedish fragrance house Byredo, IKEA is releasing an affordable range of luxury scented candles.

The 13 candles in question were created to evoke a wide range of emotions – from nostalgia for the things we’ve done, to dreams of the things we might do – and, above all, to heighten the experience of being at home.

Coming in incredible ceramic jars, the candles feature a variety of patterned designs; one to match every room, and start with prices of just €6.

“Smell is a very relevant part of the home, and it creates a sense of comfort and security. We’re trying to develop a ton of smells enforcing the idea that everyone has a different relationship to it, and nothing is right or wrong”, explains Ben Gorham, founder of Byredo, on their new collection with IKEA.

We cannot wait to get our hands on these. The OSYNLIG collection will be available to purchase exclusively in IKEA stores from 1st November 2020.
