It Seems A Love Island Reunion Special Could Be On Our Screens Pretty Soon
Okay, this is exciting.

Even though a new season of Love Island won’t be on our screens this year, or early next year for that matter, it still hasn’t stopped Love Island creeping into the headlines. From one of the Islanders ending up in A&E after a TikTok incident to SJP chatting to Love Island bosses about a brand new show.
Of course, it was completely understandable that the new seasons of the reality dating show couldn’t go ahead, because, well there’s a pandemic going on. But it’s safe to say all Love Island fans were kind of gutted.
Now, it turns out that we might not have to go a whole year without Love Island at all, as a run of reunion specials are reportedly in the works. According to The Sun, the show’s executives are apparently in talks with some of the biggest stars from past seasons of the show. It seems they’re hoping to reunite Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Paige Turley, Dani Dyer, Amber Gill, Olivia Attwood and Kem Cetinay – ideal.

A source revealed to The Sun, “ITV were gutted about pulling the plug on Love Island. It’s one of their most popular shows and also a huge commercial success. It just wasn’t feasible to go off to Mallorca and shoot at the villa, but this is a great way to get the show on air and give fans something to tide them over before it can return properly.”
They continued, “hopefully, the best-remembered names will agree to take part as it would be brilliant to see how they get on a few years later after so much has gone on in their lives. It could rekindle romantic feelings but it could also just start a load of old rows, especially as there have been a lot of messy break-ups and friendship changes.”
Well, this sounds like it could be categorically exactly what we need. Shall we start a petition to get Ovie in there too?
