It is not only the cast that is star-studded, Brad Pitts’s production company, Plan B, is also involved. Production is scheduled to start in London in early May.

Jenna and Tim were definitely a great pair when it came to creating Wednesday, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about working with the director at the time she said, “I’ve been lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with an iconic director who just so happens to be one of the sweetest directors I’ve worked with, and also the most detail-oriented.”

The original story followed the spirits of a deceased couple harassed by an unbearable family that has moved into their house. The couple hires the malicious spirit Beetlejuice to drive the new family away. In the sequel, Beetlejuice will be summoned back to earth after being let out of the ‘Netherworld Waiting Room’ according to IMBD.

The news of the long-awaited sequel comes off the back of the closure of the franchise’s Tony award-winning musical after a four-year run on Broadway stages.
