Insta Creep: Is Maura Higgins Having A Dig At Curtis Pritchard With This Instagram Caption?
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
People think Maura Higgins is being shady about ex Curtis Pritchard in her first post after announcing their breakup.
Maura delivered the sad news on Monday, saying that there was “no bad feeling on either side”, but the relationship just wasn’t to be. Aw.
Yesterday, she returned with a photo of herself looking typically *fire emoji* and an inspirational quote for a caption:
A strong woman never gives up on herself, but she may give up on you.
Ooof! Rumours have been flying about the cause of the breakup, from infidelity to the old Love Island ‘relationship contract’ conspiracy theory, but we have to believe Maura when she says that all is well and good between them.
Curtis, meanwhile, ‘broke his Instagram silence’ by sharing a photo of himself and his family:
We’re still in mourning for Murtis. Family flowers only please.
Katy Perry shared a few more details about her pregnancy in an Instagram Live Q&A.
The singer announced that she and fiancé Orlando Bloom were expecting in Beyoncé-like fashion, revealing her baby bump at the end of the music video for her new single Never Worn White.
Speaking to her fans on Instagram, she said that her due date coincides with another very important release:
There’s a lot that will be happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth literally, but also figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for. So let’s just call it a double whammy.
An album, then? She’s putting a lot on her plate. Katy also clarified the song’s title – if you were wondering how she can say she’s ‘never worn white’ when she was married before to Russell Brand (remember that?) here’s her explanation.
“The truth is, I have never worn white, because the last time – or the time before this, ten years ago – I wore dove grey.” Well then.
Sophie Turner has said she’ll “forever regret” the outfit she wore to Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington’s wedding.
You may recall that she rocked up to the nuptials in a micro-mini Louis Vuitton blazer dress, accessorised with thigh-high boots and matching red sunglasses.
In a video for Elle Magazine, the actress dissected some of her most famous looks – and looked aghast when the controversial wedding outfit came up.
“I’ll forever regret this look. One of my worst looks,” she said. “I had a fashion emergency. Both of my really classy dresses that I picked out did not fit me because they’d arrived on the day of the wedding, and I hadn’t had a chance to try them on.”
It was either the thigh-high boots or these nice heels, but I felt like… if I just wear the heels, then all of my leg is showing, if I cover up a little bit, then… urgh, it was a disaster.
Haven’t we all been there, though? No worries, Soph.
And now it’s time for… #WilloughbyWatch
Charting the public’s obsession with what Holly Willoughby is wearing.
Holly has been really repping the high street this week, much to her fans’ delight. Yesterday’s springy floral gúna is from Warehouse – it’s €87 and completely out of stock, though you can ask them to email you if it returns in your size. Curses.
Today’s look is a hashtag ad because of her deal with Marks and Spencer but we’ll bite – her patterned shirt dress is €60 and still available in most sizes. Though someone did point out that it looks like the tag is still on one of her boots. Eeek.
