By now you’ve probably heard the very splendid news that SATC is returning for a reboot series.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis officially confirmed the news on Instagram, with SJP sharing a video teasing the new show with the caption: “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now.”

Coming back under a new name And Just Like That, the HBO series will be 10 parts and is set to bring a smile to every SATC fan’s face – except maybe those who were major Samantha fans.

Confirming that Kim Cattrall or her character Samantha would not be returning for the new season, Sarah Jessica Parker addressed her non appearance saying that she will be missed and that it has nothing to do with their apparent “feud”, adding that she has nothing but good things to say about Kim Cattrall.

But for the three retuning stars, it looks like they’re seriously set to cash in.

They’re reportedly set to each earn $1 million each (€821,845.00).

According to Variety, the ladies will also work as executive producers on the show, helping to lead the way both behind and in front of the screen.

Sex And The City originally ran for six seasons and 94 episodes on HBO between 1998-2004.

Bring it on – you can read more about that here.
